WOW! Cotterstockians were kept very busy on Monday, 8th April. Fifty three people visited from all the villages in our benefice and the wider community to enjoy the last Coffee, Cakes, Chatter and More event in Cotterstock village hall. During the last thirty minutes, Robin Windsor created two beautiful flower arrangements from a normal bunch of supermarket flowers and inspired everyone. He is very talented. People were entered into a free draw to win one of his arrangements at the end.
It was lovely to see our Rural Dean, Revd Eddie Smith, who dropped in with his wife to sample the cakes and spend time chatting to lots of people. He commented, ‘What a warm and welcoming community event’.
Thanks go to Robin, all the other guest presenters and anyone who has helped in any way throughout the seven months to make these coffee mornings such a resounding success.
